Practicalities

How counselling may help you:

All humans have the capacity for growth and change given the right conditions.  Counselling may help you to break destructive patterns; to examine where they come from and to make changes.  It may help to overcome problems such as anxiety, depression and it can help with coping with loss.  

The counselling space and time will be an opportunity for you to express yourself openly and together we will work together to find new possibilities.

How long will it talk?

The sessions are always 50 minutes long and take place weekly at the same time as a general rule.

The number of sessions you have varies and depends on your needs.  Short term counselling (up to 12 weeks) can be effective for some issues.  We will discuss your requirements and agree at the outset to work for a certain number of sessions.  This can be reviewed periodically.

How much does it cost?

My standard fee is £60 per session.  I offer a reduced fee to students; please enquire.
